At noon on July 13, at the residential road crossing the railway in Nhu Quynh Town, Van Lam District, Hung Yen Province, a railway accident occurred, killing two young men.

According to initial information, at that time, a group of 3 young men were crossing the railway, two of them stopped to take pictures on the railway with their phones. When they saw the train approaching, many people called out to them but the two young men could not hear because they were wearing headphones. As a result, both young men were run over and died.

The two victims were identified as Nguyen Van Tuan, (28 years old), from Gia Chung commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh and Ha Van Hung, (21 years old), from Tuong Ha commune, Phu Yen district, Son La, who were workers in the industrial park in Van Lam district.

Immediately after the incident, authorities arrived at the scene to examine and investigate the cause of the incident.
