Since 2015, Man Utd has spent up to 1.37 billion USD on transfers, ranking first in the world, surpassing Chelsea and PSG.

According to a report from the CIES Sports Research Center, Man Utd is the team that spent the most money in the transfer market in the past 10 years with a total of 1.37 billion USD.

3 Ways Man Utd Could Line Up With Ugarte, Yoro & Zirkzee

In the summer of 2024 alone, the "Red Devils" spent 251 million USD to bring in bright names such as Manuel Ugarte, Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. Before that, in 2023, they also spent a similar amount on Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund.

The Premier League continues to be the most expensive league with a total transfer fee of up to 24.1 billion USD in 10 years. Chelsea is second with 1.26 billion USD, most of which comes from Todd Boehly's ownership period from 2022, with 40 new players brought in. PSG is next with 1.04 billion USD, highlighted by blockbusters such as Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.

Man City, despite spending only $741 million, ranked sixth, but has achieved outstanding success with a series of major titles under Pep Guardiola, including six Premier League titles and one Champions League.

Notably, Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia is the only non-European team in the top 10, with a total cost of $586 million to bring in stars such as Neymar, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Meanwhile, Liverpool ranked 17th with only 385 million USD, behind mid-range clubs such as Bournemouth, Aston Villa and West Ham.

Big spending has helped Man Utd strengthen their squad, but the question is whether these investments will bring real results on the pitch.
