Man Utd prepares to sue Ronaldo; Marco Reus comes to Vietnam
(Baonghean.vn) - Man Utd have appointed a lawyer to sue superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for breach of contract over his words in an interview with Piers Morgan; Midfielder Marco Reus, centre-back Mats Hummels, Emre Can and Donyell Males are in the Borussia Dortmund squad to play against Vietnam on November 30.
Man Utd prepare to sue Ronaldo
On November 18, Man Utd issued a 29-word statement, saying that they "have begun steps to respond to Ronaldo's recent interview", and "will not comment further until this process is complete".
Many British newspapers, includingGuardian, claiming that Man Utd had appointed lawyers to take Ronaldo to court for breach of contract. But the team preferred that the two sides resolve the issue quickly without going to court.

Man Utd have also informed Ronaldo that he does not need to return to the team after the 2022 World Cup. It is almost certain that the 37-year-old striker will not play for Man Utd anymore.
If Ronaldo is let go because of a breach of contract, Man Utd may not have to pay compensation. CR7 is currently earning nearly $600,000 a week at Man Utd and is under contract until June 2022. But Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes do not want to lose the compensation, estimated at around $14 million.
Former captain Gary Neville said he was saddened by the breakdown of the relationship between Man Utd and Ronaldo. "The greatest talent in Man Utd's history could be sold," Neville wrote onTwitter"It shouldn't have happened like that. If a few weeks ago, the two sides had sat down and negotiated with each other, he could have left more peacefully."
Marco Reus arrives in Vietnam
After waiting for the official list of Dortmund Club for the friendly match at My Dinh Stadium, the German team finally announced good news to fans in Vietnam.

Accompanying Reus on this tour is veteran center-back Mats Hummels. The 1988-born player will not be participating in the 2022 World Cup. Therefore, his name was announced after coach Hansi Flick and the German players traveled to Oman for training before the World Cup.
Another name that is equally noteworthy is Emre Can. The former Liverpool and Juventus player will fly to Hanoi to get used to the weather conditions in Southeast Asia. Can has played for Dortmund since the 2020 season and has gradually established himself.
Another Dortmund player confirmed to be in attendance is Donyell Males. The Dutch striker was absent from Louis van Gaal's squad for Qatar. But he will certainly show his class where other fans will watch. The friendly match between Vietnam and Dortmund will take place on the evening of November 30 at My Dinh Stadium.
Saigon FC gives up
Even though there is one last home match to try, the team's leadership is still "resolute" not to appear like the last 4 matches.
Not only that, the players were also asked to receive only half of the 50% of the remaining signing-on fee owed for the 2022 season that was supposed to be transferred by the club after the match against Nam Dinh in the previous round. Because the players did not agree, everything reached a dead end. The November salary was also only calculated up to November 19, the day of the last match.
But even more shocking is that players and coaches with 1-2 year contracts are also required to terminate their contracts and there will be no compensation.

In fact, Saigon FC could have completely defeated B.Binh Duong at Thong Nhat Stadium in the last round despite the absence of captain Cao Van Trien due to a penalty card. The reason is that B.Binh Duong no longer has a goal to strive for, and instead prioritizes its forces for the friendly match with Kawasaki Frontale Club (Japan) taking place one day later to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
The problem is that even if they win, coach Phung Thanh Phuong and his team cannot decide whether they will stay in the league. Because Saigon FC is 2 points behind Hong Linh Ha Tinh, the team that is expected to easily defeat Thanh Hoa at home.
With no spirit and an uncertain future, Saigon FC seems to be just waiting for the "sentence" of relegation on November 19. Thong Nhat Stadium will probably be filled with sadness, the sadness of relegation and possibly the disbandment of the entire team.
