Man Utd suffers the biggest blowout in the Premier League due to injuries.
Too many injuries may be the reason why the Red Devils haven't achieved the position they deserve in the Premier League this season.

According to The Telegraph, Manchester United have had a total of 68 injuries since the start of the season, the highest number among the 20 Premier League clubs. Currently, the Red Devils are only fourth after 34 rounds, a much lower position than what fans had expected when Louis Van Gaal replaced David Moyes as manager.
Immediately behind Man Utd are Arsenal and Stoke City, both with 66 injuries. These two clubs have responded more effectively than the Red Devils, securing third and ninth place respectively.
Having fewer injury problems can be an advantage in a season as long as the Premier League, which spans 38 rounds. And Chelsea capitalized on this advantage, securing the top spot early on and then steadily progressing to the championship. In total, the Stamford Bridge side only had 43 injuries in the past nine months, ranking 14th among the most affected teams.

| Chelsea have had fewer injuries compared to their bigger rivals, and most of those who have recovered have done so quickly. |
Tottenham were only ranked 17th on this list but failed to capitalize on that advantage. Currently, Mauricio Pochettino's team is only in sixth place in the Premier League, the same position as last season.
The two players with the most injuries in the first nine months of the season were Jon Walters (Stoke City) and Joe Ledley (Crystal Palace), with eight each.
Diego Costa, the Chelsea star, has suffered seven injuries but has recovered quickly each time. The striker currently has 19 goals in 23 appearances in his first season in the Premier League.
Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Danny Welbeck have both suffered six injuries and haven't recovered as effectively as Costa. Welbeck has only scored 4 Premier League goals this season and 8 goals in all competitions for the Gunners.
