Bring 4 tons of coins to buy a car
A Chinese man bought a car worth 680,000 yuan ($109,700) but paid with coins. It took a bank employee an hour to transport the money to the vault.

According to Shanghai list, the 660,000 yuan worth of coins wrapped in 1,320 bundles, weighing 4 tons, and more than 4 meters high when stacked on top of each other.
The customer, named Gan, works at a gas station. He explained that the coins were collected from buses that stopped to buy fuel. There are very few banks where he lives, so he decided to save the coins to buy a car.
This is not the first customer to use large amounts of coins to pay.
In March, a man in Fujian bought his new Xi'an apartment with 100,000 one-yuan coins.
