About half a month ago, from the "fever" of "green mangosteen chicken salad", the price of early-season mangosteens has always been around 60,000-80,000 VND/kg. However, in the past week, the price of this fruit in the Mekong Delta has been falling day by day, hour by hour. According to Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, traders buy at the garden for only 15,000-20,000 VND/kg (depending on the type); at the warehouse, it is only about 20,000 VND/kg.

Mangosteen prices fall.

According to a fruit warehouse owner, mangosteens after being transported to the northern provinces for consumption were damaged due to high temperatures, affecting all the fruit when packed in the shipping boxes. That is also one of the reasons for the price reduction of mangosteens.

Meanwhile, recently, Da Lat artichokes received the Asian Record for the group of famous Vietnamese dishes and specialties. On hot days, artichokes become a popular item to buy to cool down. Because of that, the price of this flower is somewhat more expensive.

In the market, fresh Da Lat artichokes are sold in abundance on the “online market”. The price per kilogram of artichokes ranges from 145,000 to 200,000 VND, depending on the type. Some places sell them for 250,000 VND/kg.

According to experts and some businesses, domestic coffee prices have skyrocketed due to a short-term shortage of Robusta supply. Currently, people have very little coffee stored, while businesses are purchasing and exporting as much as they can.

On May 29, the domestic market fluctuated from 60,500 - 61,100 VND/kg.
