Bringing nearly 5kg of marijuana into the hotel for transaction
Hung confessed that he was bringing marijuana to the hotel to sell to someone. The total amount of marijuana seized by authorities from the hotel room and in the trunk of Hung's motorbike was 4.68 kg.
On October 25, Huong Son District Police (Ha Tinh) said that the unit had just coordinated with the Cau Treo International Border Gate Border Guard Station to arrest Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1991, residing in Son Kim 1 Commune, Huong Son District) to investigate the act of illegal drug trafficking.
Previously, at around 3:30 p.m. on October 23, Huong Son District Police coordinated with the Cau Treo International Border Guard Station to raid Thinh Tam Hotel (Son Tay Commune, Huong Son District) and caught Nguyen Van Hung red-handed while he was hiding a sack containing 4 brown solids wrapped in white plastic.

Continuing to check the motorbike with license plate 38H8 - 4869 that Hung was using, the police discovered in the trunk of the vehicle a black plastic bag containing a brown solid substance.
