Nghe An Front better performs its role of representing the will, aspirations and mastery of the people.

In the general "flow" of innovating the Party's leadership method, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the apparatus in the political system; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province has also made many innovations in the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, following the motto of action of the Front cadres: "Courage, proficiency, consensus, innovation".

In addition to innovating and comprehensively improving the quality of the 5 joint action programs, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has closely followed the functions and tasks of the Front, the political tasks of the province, and the reality to select key and key tasks to effectively implement for the benefit of the people. Typical activities include caring for the poor and people in difficult circumstances in society, with the highlights being the housing construction program, "Tet for the poor", supporting people affected by natural disasters, supporting people and frontline forces in the "war" against the Covid-19 pandemic...; contributing to promoting the great national unity bloc and adding strength to those in difficult circumstances and disadvantaged people to overcome difficulties and rise up.

The Front has effectively promoted its role as a "bridge" between the Party, the State and the people by grasping the situation and public opinion to promptly reflect and make recommendations to the Party Committee and the government; at the same time, actively propagating and bringing policies and guidelines to the people in many diverse forms, especially exploiting the strengths of social networks in information and propaganda work.

The encouraging thing is that the innovations and drastic actions of the provincial Fatherland Front have spread and inspired the system of Fatherland Fronts at all levels in the province. Particularly, the activities of the Vinh city Fatherland Front, from implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas - civilized urban areas", have mobilized people to contribute more than 143 billion VND; donated nearly 7,800 m² land and more than 3,200 working days for urban beautification, construction of cultural institutions; mobilizing more than 50 billion VND from social resources to implement social security programs. The work of social supervision, criticism, participation in Party building and government building has been implemented by the City Front in increasing depth. In the period of 2019 - 2024, the City Front has advised the Party Committee and the government to organize 243 direct dialogue conferences with the people in many fields, especially compensation, site clearance, and granting of land use right certificates to people...

We believe that the Nghe An Front will continue to better perform its role as a "bridge" between the Party, the State and the people, and between the people and the Party and the State, in order to promote the strength of great national unity, arouse the mettle, will of self-reliance and aspiration to build Nghe An province to develop rapidly and sustainably in the spirit of Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW, dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo.

Nghe An has about 14.76% of the population being ethnic minorities; living in 252 communes/12 districts and towns; of which 106 communes and 1,182 villages and hamlets are particularly difficult. Socio-economic conditions, especially infrastructure, production land, job creation for the people, along with some backward customs and practices, hinder development.

Along with the attention of the entire political system, in recent times, the Provincial Fatherland Front and the Fatherland Fronts of localities with ethnic minorities have innovated the content and methods of operation in ethnic minority areas in a more practical and effective direction; promoted the application of information technology and digital transformation in the activities of the Front. For example, in Que Phong district, where more than 90% of the population are ethnic minorities, distributed in 13 communes and towns; up to now, 100% of the commune and town Fronts use the I-Office document management software, and at the same time set up fanpages, Facebook, and Zalo pages of the Front from the district to the village to serve the propaganda work of policies and guidelines to the people and the work of directing the activities of the Front in the fastest, most timely manner, spreading to the most subjects.

Social security activities are prioritized by the Provincial Fatherland Front and localities towards ethnic minorities, from livelihood models, to housing construction, health care, education support, Tet gift support with 100% of poor and near-poor households having access; connecting businesses, charitable organizations, and philanthropists to build hundreds of civil works and schools across the province, including Que Phong district. The Fatherland Front at all levels takes care of building and promoting the role of prestigious people among ethnic minorities with nearly 1,000 people; this is an important factor and force to bring the Front's policies, movements, and campaigns into the lives of ethnic minorities.

To continue promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, promoting the development of ethnic minority areas, ensuring peace for the people, peace at the border, and peace in the area; in the coming time, it is hoped that the Front at all levels in the province will enhance its role in activities in ethnic minority areas. The focus is to promote and diversify forms of propaganda, strengthen mobilization, gather the great national unity bloc to participate in emulation movements to build new rural areas, help each other escape poverty, ensure social security, preserve and promote the cultural identity of ethnic minorities; associated with focusing on eliminating backward customs, the mentality of waiting, relying and fighting against distorted, inciting and dividing arguments of the great national unity bloc by innovating vivid and effective forms of propaganda...

We hope that the Fatherland Front at all levels will continue to accompany local Party committees and authorities in grasping the people's thoughts and aspirations, promptly proposing solutions at all levels related to vocational training, job creation, and land allocation for production associated with the implementation of sustainable livelihood models for people; eliminating villages and hamlets without electricity and bringing telecommunications coverage to ethnic minority areas...

During the past term, the Provincial Fatherland Front and all levels have completed a comprehensive and focused amount of work. In particular, the Provincial Fatherland Front has focused on improving the quality of the team doing Front work from the province to the grassroots level.

I hope that in the 2024 - 2029 term, the Provincial Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will continue to grasp the situation, aspirations of the people to handle promptly, build a solid position of people's hearts, peace of mind, trust of the people, and active and effective participation in the fields of economy - society, security - defense. At the same time, it is necessary to focus more on building and training a team of grassroots Front cadres with knowledge, experience, understanding of the people, trust of the people, and support of the people; contributing to improving the quality of the Front cadres with capacity, prestige, enthusiasm, responsibility, and devotion to the common work. I believe that this Congress will select members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province for the new term who are truly exemplary in patriotism, enthusiasm, responsibility, intelligence, prestige, and deep understanding of Front work. This will create an important foundation for successfully implementing the Congress's resolution in the next 5 years.

In recent times, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has effectively implemented many emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, improving people's material and spiritual life; at the same time contributing to enhancing the role and position of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the political system and social life.

For Hoang Mai town, the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" has been deployed by the Fatherland Front at all levels with many good models, creative ways, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system and the consensus and response of all classes of people. The Fatherland Front and its member organizations have mobilized people to donate more than 78,500 m²land, contributed thousands of working days, supported more than 210 billion VND to build new rural works, urban embellishment. This result contributes to building Hoang Mai town to basically complete the criteria of a type III urban area by 2025 and strive to achieve the criteria of type II by 2030.

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in Hoang Mai have also focused on doing a good job of propaganda and mobilization, creating consensus among the people in the work of site clearance for development investment projects in the area; including a number of key projects such as Hoang Mai Industrial Park 1; Hoang Mai Industrial Park 2; North-South Expressway project; Nghi Son - Cua Lo coastal road project; AFD project against climate change and other projects...

From the practical activities of the past time, I hope that in the new term, the Provincial Fatherland Front will continue to innovate and improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, especially the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in a practical and effective direction, focusing on the grassroots level, contributing to promoting economic development, solving social problems, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

The 2019-2024 term was evaluated and affirmed as a term that gathered and promoted the strength of the entire people, built solidarity between the religious and non-religious people, leaving a good impression in the hearts of every citizen in Nghe An province of the Fatherland Front at all levels. I hope that in the new term, the Fatherland Front will continue to promote the strength of great national solidarity to well carry out the political tasks of the locality, the movements and campaigns chaired and launched by the Front will continue to spread, have practical and meaningful effects in people's lives; many difficult circumstances and vulnerable cases in society will be promptly cared for.

In recent times, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has done a very good job of uniting people of all religions. I hope that the Fatherland Front at all levels will continue to be a "bridge" to firmly build the great unity bloc of ethnic groups and religions in the province. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will continue to diversify and flexibly mobilize, gather and unite people of all religions in the province. Propagate and mobilize people to exercise their freedom of belief and religion in accordance with the law and in accordance with the cultural traditions of the nation. Promote the role of religious organizations, dignitaries and monks in mobilizing to build the great unity bloc of the entire people. Strengthen social consensus, contribute to socio-economic development, improve the quality of new rural construction, civilized urban areas, maintain political security and social order and safety in the province.
