Moscow orders US to cut diplomatic staff
(Baonghean.vn)- On July 28, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it had issued a directive requiring the US to reduce the number of diplomatic staff by September 1, and that Moscow would confiscate the guesthouse and warehouse currently used by US diplomats.
This is considered Russia's response to the US issuing a new sanctions bill against Moscow.

Specifically, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that from August 1, Russia will stop allowing the US Embassy in Russia to use all warehouses on Dorozhnaia Street and the resort area at Serebrianyi Bor Park.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said it reserved the right to impose restrictive retaliatory measures that could affect US interests. It also said the number of staff at US diplomatic and consular missions in Russia would be reduced to 455. The ministry also warned that Russia would respond in kind if Washington decided to expel any Russian diplomats.
Russia's response came a few hours after the US Senate passed a bill tightening sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea on the same day./.
