The Vietnamese CZ 75-P07 Duty pistol is the latest variant in the Czech-made CZ 75 pistol family. The first generation of CZ 75 pistols was born in the mid-1970s. The pistol was mass produced and equipped from 1976. It is estimated that more than one million pistols with all variants of the CZ 75 pistol were produced.

Currently, more than 20 countries equip their law enforcement units with this type of gun, most notably even military technology powers such as the US, Russia and Israel also equip this type of gun with limited equipment.

The latest version of CZ 75-P07 Duty that Vietnam is using was launched in 2009 and mass produced in 2012. Compared to previous versions, this new version is modernly designed, applying the leading material technologies in manufacturing, allowing to maintain durability and stability while significantly reducing the weight of the gun.

The safety catch design on both sides of the gun allows the user to use it easily and safely. The CZ 75-P07 Duty is compact, only 18.5 cm long, and weighs only 770g. The gun has a large magazine that holds up to 16 rounds. In addition, when needed, an additional round can be added to the gun's chamber, allowing the total number of bullets carried to be up to 17.

The components are designed to be simple, compact, and extremely reliable, with this design allowing for easier maintenance. The gun uses 9mmx19mm bullets. Muzzle velocity reaches 353m/s, effective range 55mm.

In addition, the gun's design integrates a pincatinny rail that allows for the attachment of necessary combat accessories. The CZ 75-P07 Duty deserves the title of the best pistol currently held by the Vietnamese Police.
