Conflict with wife, husband tied son to himself and jumped into lake to commit suicide
Just because of an argument with his wife, the husband took his 18-month-old son and left home. The next day, people discovered that he tied his son to his body and jumped into a lake to commit suicide.
According to Ha Long City Police (Quang Ninh), on the morning of September 2, local authorities found the bodies of father and son Nguyen Ngoc Nam (born in 1983, residing in Yen Lang village, Yen Tho commune, Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh) and his son Nguyen Ngoc D (18 months old) in a lake in zone 3 (Ha Khanh ward, Ha Long city).

Earlier, on the morning of August 31, Mr. Nam had an argument with his wife. After that, he took his 18-month-old son outside and took a piece of rope with him. When he reached the lake in Zone 3 (Ha Khanh Ward, Ha Long City), Mr. Nam tied his son to his body and jumped into the lake to commit suicide.
Upon receiving the information, Ha Long City Police arrived at the scene, along with other authorities, to search for the victim's body. By the morning of September 2, the bodies of Mr. Nam and his son had been found and handed over to the victim's family for funeral arrangements.
