According to initial verification, at 7:00 p.m. on June 23, Pham Van Thanh (45 years old, residing in Phac Xuyen 1 village, Bach Dang commune, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city), Deputy Director of Thanh Duc Construction Company Limited (headquartered in Lat Khe village, Quang Phuc commune, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city), drove a Toyota Vios car with license plate 15A - 29677 straight into the gate of Phuc Thuan Company.

At that time, at the gate of Phuc Thuan Company, many workers were finishing their shift and preparing to leave. The car crash seriously injured 3 female workers. Thanh then got out of the car and attacked Nguyen Huu Viet (45 years old, living in Zone 1, Tien Lang town), causing Viet to lose consciousness. He then got back in his car and drove straight into the product storage area of Phuc Thuan Company, causing the product storage area and the car driven by Thanh to burst into flames.
At the police station, Pham Van Thanh confessed that due to a love conflict with his wife, Pham Thi S. (born in 1978, in Phac Xuyen village, Bach Dang commune, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city), a worker at Phuc Thuan Company, Thanh went drinking alcohol and beer from noon to 7 p.m. the same day and drove to his wife's company to resolve the conflict, causing the above incident.
Currently, the case is being investigated and clarified by Tien Lang District Police, Hai Phong City in coordination with relevant authorities.
