US drones conduct reconnaissance on Russia's western border
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the monitoring website PlaneRadar, on April 12, the US Air Force's RQ-4B-40 Global Hawk strategic drone conducted a reconnaissance flight near the border of Kaliningrad province.

The drone with hull number 112048 took off from the Sigonella naval air base on the island of Sicily.
Foreign reconnaissance aircraft and UAVs have been increasingly spotted near Russia’s borders and military facilities recently. Previously, US Air Force spy planes flew along the Black Sea coast. They have also been frequently observed over the Baltic Sea and around Russian bases in Syria.
The Russian Defense Ministry called on the US to end similar intelligence operations, but the Pentagon refused.
