Russian aircraft accused of unsafe approach to US aircraft at sea
The US Navy has accused a Russian jet of approaching a US Navy aircraft in an unsafe manner over the Mediterranean Sea.
According to the US Navy's announcement, the unnecessary actions of the Russian SU-35 pilot violated international flight regulations and affected the safety of both aircraft.

The US Navy said the Russian aircraft's actions while operating in international airspace were irresponsible and called on Russia to adhere to international standards to avoid similar incidents. This is the second time in four days that the US has accused Russian aircraft of dangerously approaching its aircraft.
