The plane with the registration number 168438 was flying around Crimea and the coast of Krasnodar Territory. The plane approached the coast and flew 35 km from Russian territory.
In addition, a US Air Force reconnaissance drone flew in the same area on Sunday. It flew from the Sigonella air base in Sicily. The aircraft first monitored the demarcation line in Donbass and then also flew along Russia's Black Sea coast.
Recently, the activity of foreign reconnaissance aircraft and UAVs near the Russian border has increased. They have been seen both in the area of Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory and near the western regions of Russia.
The Defense Department has repeatedly called on Washington to abandon such activities, but the Pentagon has refused.
