Vietnam Airlines plane makes emergency landing due to passenger having seizure
A young Danish man had a seizure and difficulty breathing, forcing the plane from Germany to Vietnam to land in Romania for emergency treatment.
Flight number VN36 departed from Frankfurt (Germany) to Hanoi on April 2. About 1.5 hours after takeoff,A 30-year-old Danish man sitting in seat 11K had difficulty breathing. He had a seizure and fell to the floor.
A doctor on the flight gave first aid to the injured person. The crew then decided to make an emergency landing at the airport.Bucharest Henri Coanda (Romania)to ensure the safety of the guest.
The airline representative said the young man's health is now stable and he has been discharged from the hospital.
Flight VN36 continued its journey from Romania and landed safely in Hanoi, 3 hours later than planned.Affected passengers connecting in Hanoi were rebooked by the airline to continue their journey.
