Mazda CX-3 2019 launched with more powerful engine
Not much changed compared to the previous generation, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 small crossover impresses with its interior technology and more powerful engine.
With an appearance that has not changed much compared to the 2018 version, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 launched at the 2018 New York Auto Show was a big surprise for many people. Before the exhibition took place, experts predicted that Mazda would bring new generation models such as the CX-9, Mazda6 or Mazda3. |
However, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 still has some minor changes such as a custom grille, chrome details, premium crystal paint program, LED taillights and 18-inch wheels. |
Inside the cabin, notable upgrades include newly designed seats, premium leather upholstery, a suede-wrapped dashboard and red accents around the air-conditioning vents. |
One notable change is that Mazda has replaced the mechanical handbrake system with an electronic brake. Thanks to that, the driver's seat space becomes more spacious. |
In terms of transmission, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 is equipped with a re-tuned 2.0-liter SkyActiv-G gasoline engine, producing 148 horsepower and 200 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is considered more fuel-efficient than the 2018 version. |
The 2019 CX-3 is also equipped with Mazda's G-Vectoring Control acceleration control technology. This technology helps reduce unnecessary torque to make the engine smoother. |
According to Mazda, the 2019 CX-3 will officially go on sale this spring at an undisclosed price. |
