Mazda launches cheap, super-economical 'matchbox car'

Called Flair Wagon, the model has a starting price of about 267 million VND.

Mazda has just introduced a new car modelFlair Wagon and the high-end Flair Wagon Custom Style version in Japan. According to the manufacturer, the model will officially go on sale in February, based on the Suzuki Spacia but with a more aggressive design, making this car more attractive than its predecessor.

The Custom Flair Wagon is considered more interesting with a uniquely designed front fascia, with a prominent grille next to LED headlights. This model also has additional chrome-plated light clusters and round fog lights.

Called Flair Wagon and Lair Wagon Custom Style, the model has a starting price of around 267 million VND.

The interior of the car is quite simple, designed with many storage compartments, making the most of the car's capacity. Inside, the car is equipped with a large speedometer and a digital screen. In addition, Mazda also equipped this version with an infotainment system and a sports steering wheel.

Mazda also said that compared to the previous version, the Custom Flair Wagon has a more spacious interior as well as the most comfortable entry and exit space possible.

The car is also equipped with safety features such as collision warning system, lane warning system, etc. According to Mazda, thanks to the use of two 660cc, turbocharged engines with a capacity of 51 horsepower, combined with a hybrid engine, the car only consumes more than 3 liters of gasoline for 100km of travel.

Mazda’s new “matchbox car” uses a CVT automatic transmission, equipped with a standard front-wheel drive system. In addition, customers can choose a full-time 4-wheel drive system.

The Flair Wagon has a starting price of 1,333,800 million Yen (about 267 million VND) to 1,908,360 million Yen (about 382 million VND) for the highest-end version Flair Wagon Custom Style Hybrid XT.
