MC Diep Chi emotionally writes farewell letter to 'Road to Olympia'
After 2 days of information being widely published in the media, MC Diep Chi shared her first thoughts when leaving the program she has been associated with.
According to information from VTV, the contestRoad to OlympiaThe 22nd year will have a new host: Khanh Vy. She will host with familiar male face Ngoc Huy, replacing the familiar host, MC Diep Chi.
On the morning of September 26, MC Diep Chi shared her first words after leaving the show that she has been attached to. She thanked every email, text message, comment, and share that the audience sent her over the past two days. She considered this her greatest “asset” after many years working in television.
"Saying goodbye to a program I'm attached to, every time is so regretful. Like the old days when we said goodbye.Ring the Golden Belland a time to be awayWish 7. Then a few years later, I was lucky enough to meet the audience inRoad to OlympiaWith the job I'm doing, the opportunity to get closer to the audience is always continued like that... So now that we're far away, I hope to see you again soon, in a program in the future," she expressed her emotions when saying goodbye to the program for high school students.

Diep Chi said that remembering Olympia means remembering the beautiful days, when she and MC Ngoc Huy met and went on the "mountain climbing" journey with many lovely and wise young people, and also felt happy, sad, stressed, worried and bursting with joy with them.
"I forgot all about being tired because of the fun. Even though there were days when I had to host 4 consecutive shows from early morning until late at night, even though there were recording sessions that lasted for a whole week, on the last day I almost lost my voice. It's been 5 years, but every time I hear the theme song and say the familiar greeting, the excitement comes back like new," MC Diep Chi recounted.
She also humorously talked about her memories with her co-host and crew: "Hosting Olympia always makes me feel secure, even in the most stressful live broadcasts because standing next to me is a long-time co-host who is both understanding and tolerant, trustworthy; in my ears is the director's voice whenever needed; behind me is a strong team that takes on all the difficult tasks so that the MC can confidently go on air.
Each and every person gave me the best support. During break time, the director would always kindly call through the headset, “There are green plums, guavas, mangoes, cakes, sweet soups… now, MC, hurry up and eat.” Huy was very indifferent to the food, and as usual, I would run across the stage and rush into the machine room (now everyone understands why the female MC’s weight keeps increasing with each filming session).
Every beautiful photo I “show off” on Facebook is the result of countless times my younger sister crawled around, carefully calculated the angles, and took the photos for me. Whatever I needed or lacked, she immediately opened her multi-purpose bag and responded immediately. Then there was the night bus ride back to Nghe An. The emotional messages that my older sisters and younger brothers in the group sent me in the past few days… What I noticed and remembered were all simple feelings like that."
Talking about Khanh Vy - the new MC of the program - Diep Chi said that anyone who enters the Olympia family will be warmly welcomed and treated with the warmth of family. She believes that her youthfulness and positive energy will bring a new breeze to the brilliant 22nd year of "Road to Olympia" at the same time Khanh Vy turns 22 years old.
Diep Chi said that any TV show, after a period of operation, always needs creativity and changes in format, stage and representative image. Khanh Vy is confident, civilized, knowledgeable, and represents Generation Z, and will be a worthy host.
Diep Chi encouraged Khanh Vy: "However, please give her time to get used to everything. Like me in the past, I also needed time to understand, to listen to feedback and adjust, to become a part of Olympia that the audience accepted. Remembering the first day, reading the skeptical and doubtful comments of many people, I also felt very sad. I just knew to silently accept and work harder, try harder.
All comparisons are lame and meaningless. Let's put our faith in young people. Like me, at the age of 20, I had no experience but was trusted and encouraged by my predecessors to appear in the first program of my life and became the "Golden Bell" girl from that day. If I had not been trusted, I would not be who I am today."
Finally, Diep Chi emphasized that the audience's interest has proven the appeal of the longest-running TV game show produced by VTV and she is proud to participate.
"My fans, don't be sad. My work continues every day with many different programs. I've never stopped being busy. Some programs have audiences seeing me, some are just a small name, but no matter what position I'm in, I cherish it and always try my best.
No one and nothing can stop me, once I have chosen this career to stick with and go with it to the end. On the current and future path, the love and joy of the audience is always the greatest motivation", Diep Chi sent a message to her fans and hopes to see them again on air.
