MC Phan Anh affirmed: 'Mai Ngo does not have the guts to disrespect the judges'
"A truly brave and strong person is someone who knows how to face difficulties, not one who bristles or acts against the flow," Phan Anh advised.

To talk about Mai Ngo, MC Phan Anh wrote a rather long commentary.
According to MC Hoang, his first impression of Mai Ngo was different from many others. To him, Mai Ngo was a girl with an educational background, sensitive and quite fragile.
"I witnessed all the tears she shed during the nearly 15-minute interaction with the judges of the preliminary round. The way she used words in that emotional moment, her emotions, her demeanor at that time... made people with a lot of experience with people realize a very different Mai Ngo.
And so, with a positive perspective, we want to give you a chance to develop the deep, compassionate part of yourself as you wish," the male MC emphasized.

According to Phan Anh, Mai Ngo is a girl with an educational background and is quite fragile.
Telling more about Mai Ngo in the preliminary round, Phan Anh said that the broadcast time on television was not enough to convey all of Mai Ngo's true emotions. This led to a part of the audience judging this girl with a flawed and unsympathetic view.
The male MC added that Mai Ngo's filling out of her application with the words "Google Search" did not imply any disrespect. It was simply that the model chose the wrong way to express herself.
"At that time, I told her: I understand and sympathize with the way she filled out the personal information form. It was interesting and appropriate if she were in another childish contest, but in the case of a beauty pageant like this, with people who are experienced and have a long career, we need respect. But we understand that she absolutely does not dare to disrespect the judges," Phan Anh explained.

Looking back at Mai Ngo's past stories, Phan Anh and other judges did not intend to "find fault", but hoped that the 21-year-old girl would become more mature in her perception and behavior. However, Mai Ngo could not overcome the challenges posed by the competition. Instead of seeing it as a challenge and an opportunity to improve herself, the model had a negative perspective, thinking that it was unfair and "putting her down". "A truly brave and individualistic person is someone who knows how to face difficulties and stubbornly overcome them, not someone who is ruffled, prickly or acts against the flow like some cases that today's society mistakenly encourages!", MC Hoang wrote.

Phan Anh believes that personality is shown in the ability to overcome difficulties, instead of "getting angry". |
According to Phan Anh, blaming and criticizing Mai Ngo is easy, but whether the public will let her improve herself or not is another story. The extreme views about Mai Ngo are what makes Phan Anh worried.
"If possible, think about our children. When we swear and curse, do we want our children to be like that? When we criticize others, think about whether we would use that way of speaking if it were our children? When we laugh heartlessly and gleefully at some inappropriate behavior, try to see if it makes others think it's cool?", the father of three confided.
In the comments section, an audience member suddenly criticized Phan Anh for being "unmanly", advising him to write a private email or inbox Mai Ngo to advise him instead of commenting publicly on social media. In this case, the male MC firmly responded: "I'm not advising Mai Ngo! I advise people like you to be less judgmental and read carefully before commenting."
