VTV MC Quynh Nga becomes National Director of Miss Universe in Vietnam
MC - Editor Quynh Nga became the National Director of Miss Universe Vietnam, replacing the position of CEO Bao Hoang of Unimedia for many years.
On the afternoon of February 24, the signing ceremony to announce the copyright holder sending Vietnam’s representative to the Miss Universe arena took place in Ho Chi Minh City. During this event, the position of the new National Director was also announced.
Accordingly, MC-BTV Quynh Nga became the National Director of Miss Universe Vietnam, replacing the position of CEO Bao Hoang for many years. Thus, the National Director of Miss Universe Vietnam is not Lan Khue or businesswoman Duong Thu Huong as rumored in recent days.
MC Quynh Nga said: "Signing the copyright helps the Miss Universe Vietnam contest develop sustainably and promote more widely to audiences in Vietnam and around the world.
The copyright of the Miss Universe Vietnam contest will give us the right to use the contest name, the contestants' images and the cultural and social values that the contest brings to develop entertainment, media and advertising products.
The Miss Universe Vietnam Organizing Committee is working closely with partners to ensure the success of this event in the coming time. The Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 contest will be held in 2023 to select a Vietnamese representative for the Miss Universe contest in El Salvador later this year."

On the official page of Miss Universe Vietnam, Quynh Nga's image was shared and the announcement was made: "Let's welcome the new National Director of Miss Universe Vietnam".
Quynh Nga was born in 1995 and is currently a reporter in the cultural section of the Center for Digital Content Production and Development (VTV Digital), Vietnam Television Station. She was in the top 10 of Miss World Vietnam 2019, runner-up of Miss Vietnamese Students 2017, and Miss Foreign Trade Talent 2015.
Quynh Nga was once sent to compete in Miss Charm but withdrew at the last minute. Talking about the reason for not competing in Miss Charm, Quynh Nga once shared: "This is a very emotional decision for me because it not only ends my journey with Miss Charm but also ends my journey of experiencing beauty contests". After that, Quynh Nga took on the MC position in the Miss Charm 2023 final with MC Phuong Mai.
Quynh Nga graduated from Foreign Trade University, has good foreign language skills with an IELTS score of 7.5, and attended a high-quality course taught in English at Tel Aviv University (Israel) in August 2018.
