Thanh Mai said she treasures traditional costumes and often chooses ao dai during Tet holidays or when going on business trips abroad. In a new photo series celebrating the Lunar New Year, MC Thanh Mai wears charming ao dai by designer Thuy Nguyen. |
In particular, the female MC loves bright colors like red and yellow with the hope that good things and luck will come. |
Sharing her memories of Tet, Thanh Mai confided that when she was a child, she did not have many toys because everyone's life was difficult, only folk games such as banh dua, o an quan,... Therefore, when she was given a red plastic fish, she proudly put a string on the fish's nose and dragged it around the village. |

Later in Saigon, Thanh Mai lived in District 5 - Chinatown - with many delicious foods. |
The beauty always remembers the moments when she passed by a restaurant and only dared to smell the aroma but had no money to eat. |
So, only on Tet, she decided to use her lucky money to eat her favorite food. |
Now, Thanh Mai wants to celebrate Tet simply to reduce stress. |
According to her, life is now developing, even during the three days of Tet, supermarkets are open, restaurants and eateries are full so she doesn't buy much. |
The house is kept clean all year round, with plenty of fresh flowers. If friends come over, MC Thanh Mai invites everyone to dinner like every day to create a cozy, intimate atmosphere. |
"I want to keep it simple for Tet at home because those are the days off. For example, my company works all year round and never dares to take a day off. Because we do customer service, but on Tet, we ask for about 10 to 12 days off. I want to spend that time at home or at a friend's house, it's simple," she shared.
