In Mother Sea episode 30, Dai and Quan had a heartbreaking fight, their family was broken. Hai Tho blamed himself for Ba Sia, and Dai was jealous and lost everything.

Predictions for the content of Mother Sea episode 30

1. The painful confrontation between Dai and Quan

After Dai and Quan, father and son, recognize each other in an awkward situation (possibly from the fight in the previous episode), episode 30 will open with a heavy atmosphere. Dai, who has overcome many difficulties to return with the hope of reuniting, now faces a harsh reality: his wife (Hai Tho) has a new life in Ba Sia, while his son (Quan) seems to have no place for him in his life. Dai falls into a state of despair, feeling like “there is nothing left”. An emotional scene could be Dai standing silently by the beach, recalling old memories of happiness with Hai Tho and Quan, mixed with the painful present image.

Meanwhile, Quan, despite his devotion to his father and his heroic image, is torn between his loyalty to his mother (Hai Tho) and his respect for Dai. Quan may try to approach his father, trying to explain that no one wants such heartbreaking things to happen, but Dai’s self-consciousness and jealousy cause him to push Quan away. A tearful conversation between father and son may ensue, with Quan saying, “I have never forgotten you, but I don’t know what to do when things turn out like this!” However, Dai’s deep hurt makes it difficult for him to open up, increasing the distance between them.

2. Hai Tho faces guilt

Hai Tho, a woman who has suffered a lot for 20 years, is now in a dilemma. She blames herself for accepting Ba Sia's feelings to overcome difficulties, unintentionally creating tragedy for Dai and Quan. An important scene in episode 30 could be Hai Tho sitting alone, covering her face and crying as she recalls the painful days after the storm, when she thought Dai was dead and had to rely on Ba Sia to raise Quan. She could confide in a friend in the fishing village (possibly Mrs. Hau or a supporting character): "If I had not been weak, if I had waited longer, perhaps Dai and Quan would not have suffered like today".

Hai Tho could also try to talk to Dai to explain, but the hurt and hatred in Dai's heart (especially towards Ba Sia) made him unwilling to listen. This deepened Hai Tho's pain, as she felt she had lost the chance to reconcile with her ex-husband and unintentionally hurt her son.

3. Conflict with Ba Sia and the risk of explosion

Ba Sia, who has wronged Dai in the past (such as the ship fire that caused Dai to be wrongly imprisoned), will continue to be the focus of conflict. In episode 30, Ba Sia may try to keep calm and protect his current life with Hai Tho, but Dai's appearance makes him afraid of losing everything. A direct confrontation between Dai and Ba Sia may occur, possibly at the fishing port or Hai Tho's house, where Dai continues to question Ba Sia about what happened 20 years ago. Dai's hateful words, such as: "You stole my whole life, now you want to steal my wife and children too?", will make the atmosphere tense.

Quan, witnessing the conflict between his biological father and the man who took care of him, is able to intervene to prevent another fight. This adds to the pressure on Quan, as he has to straddle the line between the two important men in his life.
