Mother hid drugs in instant noodles and flour to take her child to a rehabilitation center
(Baonghean.vn) - Luong Thi Soa has a son who is being treated for drug addiction at Nghe An Social Labor Education Center II. Instead of cooperating in educating and treating her son, the subject hid drugs in instant noodle and flour bags to send to her son to use and sell for profit.
On March 29, the Investigation Police Agency (Nghi Loc District Police) announced that the unit had successfully broken up Project 318M, arrested 01 subject, and seized 15 grams of heroin.
Previously, from the end of February to the first half of March 2018, through the work of grasping the situation, Nghi Loc District Police discovered a drug trafficking ring from Tuong Duong and Que Phong districts. The subject hid drugs in food, candy, clothes and then sent them to Nghe An Social Labor Education Center II through visiting drug addicts there.

Faced with that situation, the leaders of Nghi Loc District Police established Project 318M to fight against it. On March 18, the Investigation Agency received information that a large amount of drugs were hidden in bags of snake carcasses, which would be transferred to Nghe An Social Labor Education Center II. Realizing that this was the right time, the leaders of Nghi Loc District Police decided to break up the project.
At around 7:00 a.m. on March 18, the Special Task Force coordinated with the Nghe An Social Labor Education Center II to inspect a bag of orange snake carcasses brought down by Lo Thi Bang and Lo Thi Meo, both residing in Chia Hia village, Nga My commune (Tuong Duong district). Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that under the packages of instant noodles and flour in the bag of snake carcasses were 04 packages of heroin wrapped in plastic, with a total weight of 15 grams.

Meo and Bang confessed that Luong Thi Soa (born in 1960), residing in Bay village, Nga My commune (Tuong Duong district), asked her to deliver the goods to her son Phang Quang Vinh, who is undergoing drug rehabilitation at the Center. Immediately after that, the emergency arrest warrant for Luong Thi Soa was issued by the Special Task Force in coordination with Tuong Duong District Police on March 18.

At the investigation agency, Soa confessed to buying the above drugs from Luong Van Minh (born in 1967), also residing in Bay village, Nga My commune (Tuong Duong district) to give to his son to use and resell for profit. Currently, Luong Van Minh is on the run. The investigation agency is consolidating the case file and handling the subjects according to regulations.
