Mother brought drugs to the rehabilitation center for her child
Staff at a drug rehabilitation center in Dong Thap checked items sent by relatives outside for their son who was undergoing compulsory drug rehabilitation and discovered that a bag of dried jackfruit contained many packages of drugs.
On September 17, Cao Lanh District Police (Dong Thap) filed a case and granted bail to Huynh Thi Hong Van (42 years old, residing in Ward 3, Sa Dec City) to continue to clarify the act of "Illegal possession of narcotics".
According to the police, on the afternoon of September 16, Cao Lanh District Police discovered and caught Ms. Van red-handed visiting her child who was undergoing compulsory drug rehabilitation in My Long Commune (Cao Lanh District).
At that time, Ms. Van was carrying 4 bags of dried jackfruit. Upon inspection, it was found that inside were 1 clove and 3 packages suspected to be drugs (weight unknown). The police have made a record and are continuing to investigate.
