Tips for parking a car in a narrow space in just one "red"
Not only new drivers, many experienced drivers are sometimes confused when parking. The following tips will help drivers park more skillfully, avoiding collisions when encountering parking spaces that are too narrow.
1. Horizontal pairing

To easily parallel and longitudinally couple, the driver needs basic skills as well as practical experience. |
This is a popular way to park, you need to determine the space that can fit your car to avoid collision due to the narrow range. Normally, the space that meets the requirements will be about 1.5 times the length of the car. After determining the space to park, you perform the following 4 steps:
Step 1:Move the car parallel to the car in front so that the rear of your car is equal to the rear of the parked car, the distance between the two cars is about 50cm wide, adjust the left mirror so that you can see the left rear wheel of your car is best.
Step 2:Put the car in reverse, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, reverse slowly, observe the left mirror until you see the left side of your car shining directly into the logo of the car parked behind, then stop and turn the steering wheel straight (If the space between the two parked cars is wider, the side of your car will shine deep into the right headlight of the car behind).
Step 3:Continue to reverse the car while observing the left mirror. When you see that your rear wheel (the wheel's landing position) and the front wheel of the car parked behind are on the same straight line, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and continue to reverse until the rear of your car almost touches the front of the other car, then stop.
Step 4:Put the car in gear, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, move forward slowly, look in the right mirror, when you see the right side of your car parallel to the curb, turn the steering wheel straight and stop so that the front of your car is about 60 - 70cm from the rear of the car in front.
2. Vertical joint

Vertical alignment is one of the contents in the driving license test. |
Step 1:Drive the vehicle parallel to the chip line, about 30cm - 40cm away from the chip line (control the clutch grip point to slow the vehicle).
Step 2:Continue to drive slowly until the left mirror is level with the second horizontal chip line, then turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and move forward while observing the left mirror. When you see the distance between the left side of the car and the corner at the left stall door is 60cm wide, stop and turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. Step 3: Put the car in reverse, reverse slowly and observe the left mirror. When you see the wheel or side of the car parallel to the chip line, stop. Step 4: Return the steering wheel straight and reverse straight until you hear a whistling sound, then brake to stop.
