You can use avocado as a shaving cream or as a foot massage cream to help treat cracked heels.

Shaving cream

Avocado is rich in vitamins A and E, which help soften and nourish the skin.

Recipe:Split the avocado in half, remove the seed, mash the flesh and put it in a clean glass jar, store in the refrigerator and use.

Lip balm

The skin on your lips is very thin, making them prone to wrinkles. Avocados contain oleic acid, which helps keep your lips soft and plump.

Recipe:Mix the pulp of 1/2 a ripe avocado with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Apply the mixture to the area around your lips and leave it on for 25 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Repeat twice a week.

Exfoliate

Regular exfoliation helps keep your skin looking youthful and smooth. Avocados are rich in vitamin E and niacin, making them one of the best ingredients for exfoliation.

Recipe:Mix the flesh of one ripe avocado with two tablespoons of oatmeal and one tablespoon of raw honey. Use this mixture to gently massage your skin in circular motions. Leave the mixture on your skin for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Repeat once a week.

Fade stretch marks

Avocado contains lots of vitamin C and E which helps firm and fade stretch marks effectively.

Recipe: Mix the flesh of 1 ripe avocado and 2 tablespoons of almond oil thoroughly. Then apply the cream to your fingertips and massage the stretch mark area. Leave the cream on for 35 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

Lighten dark circles under eyes

Dark circles and puffiness under the eyes occur due to poor blood circulation. Vitamins A, C, D and B3 in avocados help reduce this problem.

Recipe:Blend 1/2 avocado and 4 cucumbers in a blender. Refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour. Then apply the mixture to your eyes for 25 minutes. You can repeat this every morning.

Hair mask

If you want thicker, shinier hair, try an avocado mask. Avocados are rich in vitamins and fatty acids, which help strengthen hair.

Recipe:Mix the flesh of one ripe avocado with 2 tablespoons of almond oil and 1 teaspoon of salt. Apply the mixture to the roots of your hair and massage gently. Spread the mask evenly over the entire length of your hair and leave it on for 25 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. Repeat 3 times a week.

Soap

Avocado soap is an effective moisturizer for the skin.

Recipe:Mix 45 ml water and 65 ml lye. Heat 150 ml avocado oil, 130 ml coconut oil, 130 ml olive oil, 30 ml almond oil, 45 ml water, and 170 g mashed avocado in a pan. Let cool to room temperature. Then mix the two mixtures thoroughly. Add 4 drops of peppermint essential oil. Pour the mixture into a mold and refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours.

Soften foot skin

Exfoliate with avocado to effectively soften cracked heels.

Recipe: Mix 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 drops of orange essential oil and the flesh of 1/2 avocado. Soak your feet in warm water until soft, then use the mixture to massage and exfoliate. Leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water, apply moisturizer and wear warm socks. Repeat twice a week.

Makeup remover

A mixture of avocado oil and avocado flesh is a great alternative to chemical makeup removers. Not only does it remove makeup, it also nourishes your skin with vitamins and beneficial fatty acids.

Recipe:Mix 1 tablespoon avocado oil and 1 teaspoon mashed avocado. Apply the mixture to your face and massage gently for 5 minutes, then rinse with water.
