However, placing the key under the chin or pressing it against the temple will "transform" the human body into an antenna, thereby increasing the coverage area and that is also the reason why the key and the car can operate at a longer range.

Some key covers and cases can also affect the range. Of course, walls and buildings can also reduce the range of the signal, so move around a bit to avoid obstacles.
