Mercedes-Benz launches 2018 E-Class All-Terrain in India
Dubbed the most versatile E-Class from Mercedes-Benz, the E-Class All-Terrain can handle all types of terrain from regular roads to off-road.
At the Auto Expo 2018, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain 2018 was officially launched alongside the Mercedes-Maybach S650 super luxury sedan. Overall, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain has a more imposing, sporty and significantly more powerful appearance than the E-Class Estate.
The E-Class All-Terrain features an SUV-style two-fin grille, a front bumper divided into three sections with the upper part painted in the same color as the body and the lower part finished in light black plastic.

Mercedes-Benz says the All-Terrain is the German automaker's most versatile E-Class. In fact, the E-Class All-Terrain is the off-road version of the E-Class Estate.
To suit the off-road nature, the E-Class All-Terrain has taller and wider tires, increasing the height by 14 mm. In addition, the car also has the Air Body Control air suspension system that raises the chassis by 15 mm. Thus, the E-Class All-Terrain is 29 mm higher than the E-Class Estate.
The car's off-road capabilities are further enhanced by the standard Dynamic Select ride control with five modes. In All-Terrain mode, the car gets an additional 20 mm of ride height for the air suspension. The air suspension has three modes, and in the highest mode, the ground clearance can be raised from 121 mm to 156 mm at the touch of a button on the center console.

In India, Mercedes-Benz will offer the E220d 4MATIC model equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine, 194 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC AWD all-wheel drive system.
