The updated 2015 Mercedes CLS-class has been revealed.
The 2015 CLS-class features new LED headlights, a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, and is offered with five engine options, plus an AMG package.

The 2015 CLS-class features a redesigned grille and a sportier front bumper. The most notable upgrade is the multi-beam LED headlight system, which automatically optimizes light distribution for more efficient illumination. The LED headlight system comprises 24 individual LEDs that automatically adjust 100 times per second via camera and four other control devices.
The new headlight system can detect oncoming vehicles and automatically adjust the beam to avoid blinding other road users. Furthermore, these new headlights can detect curves and utilize navigation data to detect roundabouts, automatically illuminating the road for the driver.
The CLS-class interior is unique with a new sporty three-spoke steering wheel and a new 8-inch screen. The center console features two control knobs, compared to four on the current model. Additionally, the interior offers a choice of five colors and six different leather upholstery options.
Under the hood, five engine options are available, all complying with Euro 6 emission standards. First, there are 4-cylinder diesel engines in three variants: the CLS 220 BlueTEC with 170 hp and 400 Nm of torque; the CLS 250 with 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque; and the CLS 350 with 258 hp and 620 Nm of torque.
Meanwhile, gasoline engine options include the CLS 400's 3.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 333 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque, and the CLS 500's V8 engine delivering 408 horsepower and 600 Nm of maximum torque. In addition to these engine options, Mercedes also offers an AMG package for the CLS-class, including the CLS 63 AMG with a 5.5-liter V8 engine producing 557 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.

Another significant upgrade lies in the gearbox, with the 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission replacing the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and available on the CLS 220, 250, 350, and 500.
