The Mercedes Maybach S600 is cheaper than the S65 AMG.
In the US, the starting price for a Mercedes Maybach S600 is $189,350 – $32,650 cheaper than the top-of-the-line S65 AMG version.
This can be considered a reasonable price for the S600 Maybach's prestige, especially since it's only $31,450 more expensive than the starting price of the long-wheelbase (LWB) S600 version.
In fact, because most S600 buyers often add many different options, the price of many cars can come close to that of the S600 Maybach.
Starting at $189,350 (including shipping), customers will own an S600 Maybach fully equipped with luxurious and modern amenities, along with a plethora of pre-installed electronic systems: driver assistance package, MAGIC BODY CONTROL, night vision assist system, rear-seat entertainment system, Burmester 3D sound system, intelligent LED lighting, and more. If all that equipment isn't enough, they can opt for Mercedes' special "personalization" program, with configurations dependent solely on the owner's bank account.
Compared to regular S-Class versions, the Maybach S-Class has a wheelbase of 5453 mm and a track width of 3365 mm. Aside from the longer body, the Maybach logo on the C-pillar, the trunk, and the special wheels, the car's design is otherwise identical to other S-Class models.
For the S600 Maybach version, Mercedes equips the car with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, producing 523 horsepower and up to 830 Nm of torque. This power is transmitted to the rear axle via a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Despite its heavy weight and large size, the S600 Maybach is still capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
