Messi did not invite Luis Enrique to the wedding

Former coach Luis Enrique was not on the guest list for Messi's wedding on June 30.

Messi also did not invite other members of the Barca coaching staff who recently resigned, including Unzue, Robert Moreno, Rafel Pol and Joaquin Valdes. Furthermore, the player wearing the number 10 shirt also did not invite any members of the Barca leadership, including President Josep Bartomeu.

According to Diario Sport, Messi may be following the example of his former teammate Xavi. When he held his previous wedding,aware of the conflict between the two former Presidents Sandro Rosell and Joan Laporta,Xavi did not invite any of the leadership members.

Messi only invited friends, teammates, relatives and staff at Barca.

While not inviting his former coaching staff and senior management, Messi sent invitations to all 21 teammates. Due to personal matters, some players will not attend, such as captain Andres Iniesta.

Messi also invited all the medical staff, prepared clothes, shoes and doctors working for the A team. Many former teammates will also be present such as Xavi.

Messi also asked guests to donate to a charity named after him instead of giving wedding gifts.

Messi will marry his longtime girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo at the Pullman Hotel in his hometown of Rosario, Argentina. The superstar has booked all 250 rooms in the hotel for the wedding.
