Michael Olaha agrees to extend contract with Song Lam Nghe An
After Song Lam Nghe An successfully stayed in the 2023/2024 season, striker Michael Olaha agreed to extend his contract with the Nghe An team.
Defeating The Cong Viettel Club with a score of 2-0 in the final round of the season, Song Lam Nghe An surpassed Hong Linh Ha Tinh on the rankings to officially stay with V-League 2024/2025.
Achieving that achievement was greatly contributed by Nigerian striker Michael Olaha. He is considered the soul of the Nghe An team's attack. Almost every attack of Song Lam Nghe An has the mark of the foreign player born in 1996.
In particular, in the match against The Cong Viettel - an important match that decided the possibility of Song Lam Nghe An staying in the league, Michael Olaha played explosively and scored a double to help the home team win 2-0. Since then, Olaha has always been the main striker, indispensable for Song Lam Nghe An. In V-League 2022, Olaha scored 3 goals with 22 appearances, 2023 with 5 goals with 18 appearances and 2023/2024 with 13 goals with 26 appearances.
