The official rally, parade, and march celebrating the reunification of the country took place in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Ho Chi Minh City.

7:40 AM: Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thai, former Deputy Political Commissar of the 7th Corps, 4th Division, who participated in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign in the Spring of 1975, delivered a speech.

7:50 AMNguyen Dao Phuong Thuy, a fourth-year student at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, represented the young generation of Vietnam and delivered a speech.

8:00 AM:The parade celebrating the reunification of the country officially took place under the direction of Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

The commemoration consists of two main activities: a memorial ceremony and a rally, parade, and march. The memorial ceremony will take place at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Martyrs' Monument in Hanoi, and the Martyrs' Cemetery and Memorial Temple in Ben Duoc District, Ho Chi Minh City, before April 30th.

The parade and march program included 38 contingents from the armed forces, encompassing all branches of the military; veterans; and civilians who made significant contributions to the resistance war for the liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of the country.

The parade will also recreate the forces that participated in the 1975 Spring Offensive and simulate the five liberation army columns advancing towards Saigon.
