New generation Mitsubishi Triton MIVEC and Pajero Sport launched to customers in the Central region

Two models imported from Thailand, launched at Mitsubishi Kim Lien on the occasion of the event "Fukubukuro - Bringing in a car to welcome fortune".

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport launched in the Central market is a completely new version (All-new), with strong and comprehensive changes from the exterior design, interior equipment, chassis as well as the engine system. Triton MIVEC, the first pickup truck in the world to apply Mitsubishi's famous MIVEC electronic variable valve technology on diesel engines.

Inspired by the outstanding performance of the Lancer Evolution sports car and the perfect protection of the Pajero, the appearance of the Pajero Sport has a completely transformed look: more modern, powerful, imposing and classy.

A series of unprecedented advanced technologies have been applied to Pajero Sport: UMS ultrasonic technology to prevent unintended acceleration, 7 airbags, blind spot warning system, panoramic camera, 4 optional operating modes, active 4-wheel control system... Sharing the trapezoidal chassis with Triton, Pajero Sport inherits the characteristics of durability, strong operation and confidence. Besides the tough lines of the off-road vehicle line, Pajero Sport also meets the comfort requirements of a family car, from driving feeling, accelerator pedal to interior space.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is sold in two versions: 4x4AT and 4x2 AT. Both versions use a 3.0-liter V6 MIVEC gasoline engine with a maximum capacity of 220 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. Maximum traction of 285 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

Unique in its segment, the Pajero Sport uses an 8-speed automatic transmission, while its competitors only use 5-speed or 6-speed. Rear-wheel drive or 4WD, with Super Select II mode. Four operating modes on the Pajero Sport meet a variety of road conditions including: Gravel, Mud, Sand and Rock.

When the design platform and equipment reached the optimal level, Mitsubishi Triton upgraded the engine. This is the latest generation of Mitsubishi Diesel engines, possessing many modern technologies. For the first time in the world, MIVEC electronic variable valve control technology is integrated into the diesel engine, helping to increase the efficiency of air intake into the combustion chamber. This technology helps Triton increase power and torque but reduce fuel consumption, noise and engine vibration during operation. The application of high-grade aluminum materials helps the Triton MIVEC engine to be up to 30kg lighter than the previous generation.

Mitsubishi's new pickup truck uses a 2.4L MIVEC engine with a turbocharger (turbo diesel). Maximum capacity of 181 horsepower at 3,500 rpm. Maximum traction up to 430Nm at 2,500 rpm. A 5-speed automatic transmission with sport mode is standard equipment.

Mitsubishi Triton is the only pickup truck on the market that owns the famous Super Select-II transmission system, with up to 4 transmission modes including 2H-4H-4HLc and 4LLc. The center differential lock supports off-road capability on bad roads. Safety equipment on Triton MIVEC has been comprehensively upgraded, with electronic body balance system and ASTC traction control system. HSA hill start assist system, dual airbags, automatic belt tensioners, ABS, EBD, BA braking system... The power steering system has also been improved, providing a comfortable, smooth driving experience like a passenger car.
