The new rival to the Toyota Avanza and Suzuki Ertiga was introduced in Indonesia before coming to other markets in Southeast Asia as well as the world.
The Japanese automaker is boosting its brand presence in the ASEAN region with the debut of its new multi-purpose vehicle at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
The new product, called Xpander, combines important elements that have made it successful in the ASEAN market, such as the high chassis and style of an SUV, with the efficiency and flexibility of an MPV.
