More than a year ago, found a 100m2 plot of land2Next to the inter-commune road previously used for rice cultivation, he renovated and invested in building a fish pond, combining frog and eel farming, the pond has an inlet and outlet water system.
With more than 20 million VND, after renovating the pond, covering it to prevent loss during big floods, he released 30kg of fish fry, including grass carp, bighead carp, silver carp, and common carp. In addition, he used bamboo to build a frame and then spread nets to raise more than 500 frogs and release more than 1.5 tons of eel fry. According to him, this model of "frogs above, fish below" was learned through books and newspapers. He had spent a lot of time approaching the technical aspects before.
After just over 5 weeks of raising, the fish have grown very quickly in the middle of the pond and the frogs are in their best growth period, about 4 frogs reaching 1kg. Mr. Tai said that for frogs, every 2.5-3 months of raising, he can sell 1 crop, reaching a weight of 3-4 frogs/1kg, each year he can raise 2-3 crops. It is worth mentioning that frogs have few diseases, and the food source can be utilized such as raising earthworms, golden apple snails, banana leaves...
Currently, the price of frogs sold on the local market is 70,000 VND/1kg, eels 120,000 VND/1kg. With 3 crops a year, the profit from frogs and eels is more than 20 million VND. Besides, he also earns nearly 50 million VND from fish.

Not only developing fish farming, but now Mr. Tai has invested in planting 1 hectare of fruit trees such as: grapefruit, apple, tangerine, lemon. Up to now, the lemon and apple trees have been harvested, with this fruit garden in the near future, this will be a large source of income for his family. Besides, he also invested in raising buffalo, cows, pigs and chickens, planning to invest in building barns and raising 20 more cows in the near future to provide fertilizer for the plants and feed for the fish.
