Unlock Facebook account with face verification
Facebook is testing a new feature that allows users to regain access by using their face to verify their identity.
According to TechCrunch, the feature is currently only being tested and is available on devices that users have used to log in. “Two-factor authentication and facial recognition will make it easier for account owners to authenticate their identity,” Facebook said.

Over the years, Facebook has experimented with a number of ways to help users regain access when their accounts are hacked or locked, such as identifying photos of friends or allowing users to set up a few trusted friends.
If your Facebook account is locked and you don’t receive a verification message, facial recognition is an option to resolve the above issues. The company says facial recognition will be displayed during the account recovery process.
Facial recognition is convenient in its own right, but it can be easily bypassed by simpler methods. Facebook also admits that facial authentication isn't the most secure method.
