The seemingly "easy" subject turns out to be the "most difficult" subject in the 2025 high school graduation exam.

The 2025 high school graduation exam has ended with many unexpected developments, in which the subject of Technology - Industrial Orientation, introduced into the exam program for the first time, became the center of attention when only 4 candidates nationwide achieved a perfect score of 10. This is a remarkable result, especially when this exam is considered relatively easy compared to traditional subjects.

According to the statistical report and analysis of the 2025 high school graduation exam score distribution from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Technology - Industry subject attracted 2,290 candidates.

The average score for this subject was 5.79. The whole country recorded 4 excellent candidates with 10 points, coming from Can Tho City, Ca Mau, Dak Lak and Thai Nguyen, no candidate got 0 points.

However, the number of candidates scoring below average (below 5 points) accounts for a significant proportion with 780 students, equivalent to 34.061%. The lowest recorded score ranges from 2.25 to 2.5 points. In contrast, there are 586 candidates scoring 7 points or more, accounting for 25.59%.

In the ranking of average scores in Technology - Industry, Quang Ninh province leads with a candidate achieving the highest average score in the country of 8.25.

Dien Bien province ranked second with 7 candidates, achieving an average score of 7,907. Phu Tho ranked third with 6 candidates, achieving an average score of 7,600.

The remaining provinces in the top 10 include Ca Mau (6,835 points), Vinh Long (6,802 points), Bac Ninh (6,448 points), Ha Tinh (6,417 points), Tay Ninh (6,242 points), An Giang (6,151 points) and Dong Nai (6,081 points). An Giang is the locality with the largest number of candidates taking this subject with 248 students.

The results of the Technology - Industry subject have proven surprisingly difficult, contrary to the initial expectations of many experts and candidates.

The Ministry of Education and Training said it will continue to analyze data to adjust the curriculum, ensuring it is more consistent with the orientation of developing industrial skills in general education.
