At the seminar, Secretary General and Head of the Office of the National Assembly Nguyen Hanh Phuc spoke, highly appreciating the press's support on the 70-year journey of formation and development of the National Assembly.
“It is thanks to the press that the activities of the 13th National Assembly have been conveyed specifically and vividly to voters, and have been highly appreciated by voters,” Mr. Nguyen Hanh Phuc affirmed. In particular, the success of the recent election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels had a very important contribution from the press agencies; through the specific and complete transmission of election information to voters nationwide.
“In the coming time, we will continue to research, propose solutions, and create a favorable environment for the press to approach delegates and delegates to approach the press. At the same time, we will also coordinate and create conditions for the National Assembly Journalists Club to operate more effectively,” the Secretary General of the National Assembly pledged.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Ho Quang Loi shared that, through the press's reflection, it seems that there is still no comprehensive presence of National Assembly deputies, but the press often only selects a few familiar National Assembly deputies, which somewhat reduces the representativeness of the National Assembly. Mr. Ho Quang Loi wishes to "hear the voices of many other National Assembly deputies".
