Hope to have a cultural house
(Baonghean) - We are the people of Noong On village, formerly Khun Tinh Muong. Since the new government, there has been a group of villagers who can gather together to listen to stories from nearby and far away villages, learn how to do business; receive policies and guidelines from the Party and State, and speak out our thoughts... The old and the young, women and girls, everyone has their own group...
So, as our people say, the bird already has a flock. Some people get to join two or three groups. It's fun and they get to know many things, especially when there are meetings or holidays.
However, the people of Noong On, Co, Pom, La... and several other villages in the commune do not have a community cultural house yet. Every time the villagers have a meeting, they have to worry about whose house is big enough to ask for permission to hold the meeting. It is inconvenient, and they feel too respectful. Their own house is the place for the village meeting. There are many things that bother them, but they do not dare to speak loudly, afraid that the children will hear. Each person has their own house ghost. Speaking harshly is not very pleasant to listen to. And the people of our village do not have time to meet during the day. During the day, they have to go to the fields. All meetings are held at night. Many meetings end almost midnight, the elderly and children in the house get sleepy and have no place to sleep.
The cadres and the villagers also knew that it was not convenient, so they had the villagers meet and build a hut, make bamboo tables and chairs to sit in, because our village was still very poor and did not have much money to build a nice house. But it seemed to be ineffective. The house was built for a few months, and after a few dozen meetings, the fence was torn and the roof was punctured. The cadres and villagers could only choose a local house to hold meetings. To encourage the homeowner, the villagers contributed a few dozen kilos of rice for each crop, as payment for a bowl of water and a cigarette at each village meeting.
However, the villagers still do not feel well at all. Hopefully, the Government will pay more attention and support so that our village can have a cultural house, so that our people can attend village meetings and have many other activities, to feel at ease!
