A provincial-level official is accused of "depraved behavior" towards a female journalist.
Mr. NMH (35 years old), an employee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, has been accused of "depraved behavior" towards a female journalist and is currently suspended from his duties pending investigation.

On the morning of April 10th, Mr. Vu Kim Sinh, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc of Lam Dong province, announced that Mr. NMH (35 years old), Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, had been temporarily suspended from his duties for 10 days pending an investigation into his "depraved behavior" towards a female journalist.
According to Mr. Sinh, the incident occurred on the evening of March 31st at the Center for Applied Science and Technology, under the Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong province. Specifically, after the gathering and celebration of the Youth Union members of the Culture, Society and Technology Cluster ended, Mr. H. and a female reporter named A. (name changed; 27 years old, working at a media agency in Lam Dong province) went to the restroom (there was only one restroom with two stalls, labeled for women). There, Mr. H. committed "depraved acts" against the female reporter.

Mr. Sinh further stated that on April 3rd, female reporter A. filed a complaint against Mr. NMH with the police, and only then did Mr. Vu Kim Sinh become aware of the incident.
"When I was informed of the incident, I didn't believe it was true, because H. is a very active and competent Youth Union official…," Mr. Sinh said.
Subsequently, on April 4th, Mr. H. admitted to Mr. Vu Kim Sinh that he had committed "depraved acts" against the female reporter, and also wrote a report detailing the incident. Mr. H. acknowledged that his actions had degraded his status as a party member and requested to accept any disciplinary action imposed by the Party Committee of the provincial agencies.
At noon on April 10th, the Da Lat City Police announced that they had received a complaint from a female journalist and are continuing to investigate the matter for appropriate action.
