A worker 'burned' on an electric pole
While working, a worker was hit by a high voltage electric source, causing the victim to catch fire and smoke to billow.

The incident happened at around 10am on March 12, on Ly Thai To Street, Le Hong Phong Ward, Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province.
According to initial information, at the above time, the worker was repairing the electricity when he was hit by a high voltage source and caught fire.

Upon discovering the incident, people immediately called out to rescue the victim, but because the victim was high up and had an electric shock, no one dared to climb up to save him. Many people shouted and urged each other to call for help to rescue the victim. In pain from severe burns, the victim continuously swayed on the electric pole.
Some people took fire extinguishers, climbed a tree by the roadside and sprayed fire extinguishers on the electric pole to save people.
The victim then fell from a great height and suffered severe burns all over his body. Locals immediately provided first aid and took the victim to the hospital.
Immediately afterwards, authorities were also present at the scene, taking statements from workers working the same shift as the victim and people who witnessed the incident.
Ha Nam General Hospital also confirmed that the hospital had received a patient with severe burns caused by a high voltage electric discharge.
The victim was Do Van Luong, residing in Tam Thanh village, Kim Binh commune, Phu Ly city, Ha Nam province. Due to severe burns, this patient was transferred to the National Institute of Burns for treatment.
