(Baonghean.vn) - This is the information that the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam has just sent to the Department of Education and Training. At the same time, there are warnings about some companies that show signs of fraudulently granting scholarships to study abroad.

The Embassy of Japan in Vietnam has just announced a list of 11 companies whose visa application representative status has been temporarily suspended for 6 months from June 1 to December 1, 2019. In Nghe An, there is a unit called Sekai Education Company Limited, located at 126, Ly Tu Trong Street, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City.

Previously, the Embassy also noted that study abroad companies wishing to apply for a study visa must be registered in the "List of study abroad consulting establishments" publicly available on the website of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. In addition, each time study abroad companies apply for a study visa, they must present the original or notarized copy of the Study Abroad Consulting License issued by the Department of Education and Training and submit a photocopy.

The Japanese Embassy will also refuse to issue visas in cases such as: Submitting fake documents from state agencies, fake photos, presenting false content, documents that the Japanese side should have done but the Vietnamese side did instead, then the visa will be refused.

Regarding this issue, the Department of Education and Training also sent a document to the Departments of Education and Training and high schools in the area to publicize the suspended units. At the same time, the Department also warned that there are currently 2 study abroad consulting units with unethical behavior (fraud) namely T&T Japan Study Abroad Consulting Company (no branch in Nghe An province). The fraudulent behavior is: Making certificates of Japanese language proficiency, bank savings books, and visas to study in Japan.

The second case is Nhat Tin International Investment and Cooperation Joint Stock Company (no branch in Nghe An province). The fraudulent act is: Granting "NISSINKYO Scholarship Certificates" to students wishing to study in Japan in April 2020 with a value of 3 billion VND.
