A business in Nam Cam Industrial Park was fined more than 100 million VND
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh has just signed a decision to impose an administrative penalty on Nam Son Joint Stock Company, with a fine of more than 100 million VND. This company is headquartered at Lot B4, Area B, Nam Cam Industrial Park, Nghi Xa Commune, Nghi Loc District.
In the Penalty Decision No. 172/QD-XPHC dated November 11, it is stated that Nam Son Joint Stock Company committed 4 administrative violations:
First, Nam Son Joint Stock Company did not establish a record of occupational environmental hygiene for harmful factors and occupational disease prevention according to the law. For the above violation, the company was fined 1.5 million VND.
Second act, in 2023, the Company did not organize occupational disease screening for 24 workers exposed to harmful factors that could cause occupational diseases. For this act, Nam Son Joint Stock Company was fined 96 million VND.
Third act, the Company did not pay social insurance and unemployment insurance for enough employees who were required to participate in compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance, but did not evade payment for 2 employees with the amount of 57,216,540 VND.
However, the Company has participated in compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance for 1 employee since January 2024. At the same time, it has been aware of the violation and actively provided records and documents to help the Inspection Team perform its duties.
For this violation, after applying mitigating circumstances, the Company was fined VND 13,732,000.
Regarding remedial measures, Nam Son Joint Stock Company is required to pay the full amount of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance of VND 57,216,540. In addition, it must pay interest equal to twice the average social insurance fund investment interest rate of the previous year, calculated on the amount and time of late payment (VND 57,216,540).
The fourth act, Nam Son Joint Stock Company did not pay enough health insurance for the number of employees required to participate in health insurance for 2 employees required to participate in health insurance with the amount of 9,627,390 VND. For this violation, after applying mitigating circumstances, the Company was fined 2 million VND.
Thus, the total fine that Nam Son Joint Stock Company must pay to the Nghe An provincial budget is 112,232,000 VND.
