The patient was admitted to the hospital with a brain hemorrhage, a broken cervical spine, a severed ear, and a severed finger, in a very critical condition. Doctors immediately began treatment and saved the victim's life.

Regarding the incident, Mr. Phan Van Binh, Chief of Quang Thanh Commune Police, Yen Thanh District, said that Ms. Quyen was beaten in a fight due to a land dispute between the family of Mr. Nguyen The Hao (born in 1960, Ms. Quyen's brother) and Mr. Phan Le Trong (born in 1977, Mr. Hao's neighbor).

Accordingly, at around 3:30 p.m. on February 2, Ms. Quyen was working in the fields when she heard a scuffle at her brother Mr. Hao's house. When she returned, Ms. Quyen saw Mr. Hao and his son Mr. Nguyen The Hung fighting with 4 people in Mr. Trong's family. Ms. Quyen rushed in to stop them but was hit on the head with a bamboo stick and fainted on the spot.
