A woman jumped off a bridge to commit suicide.

(Baonghean.vn) - After riding her motorbike to the middle of the bridge, the woman stopped and suddenly jumped into the Lam River to commit suicide, much to the astonishment of passersby.

The victim's family is currently organizing a search.

Accordingly, at around 0:15 on June 9th, passersby were horrified to see a woman riding a motorbike stop in the middle of Ben Thuy 1 bridge, connecting Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, and suddenly jump into the Lam River, much to the helplessness of many onlookers.

At the scene, the victim left behind a red and black AirBlade motorbike, two Nokia phones, a pair of shoes, and some personal documents. The victim was identified as Nguyen Thi T.

Due to the strong current, rescue teams had still not found any trace of the victim by the morning of the same day.

Authorities are currently searching for Ms. T's body and investigating the cause of the incident.
