A Vietnamese woman was brutally murdered in Malaysia.
Police in Johor Baru, the capital of Johor state in southern Malaysia, said they discovered the semi-naked body of a Vietnamese woman at a workers' dormitory on Perkasa Road in Ungku Tun Aminah.
The victim, approximately 50 years old, was allegedly attacked by a Vietnamese man.
This man entered the dormitory at 9 PM on October 10th.
North Johor Baru Assistant Police Chief Mohd Khamsani Abdul Rahman said police found the victim lying face down, wearing only pants, and stabbed in the stomach and back, with blood stains on the walls, doors, and floor.
The victim is believed to have died at the scene.
According to Mohd Khamsani, another female victim attacked in the incident is in critical condition and has been admitted to Sultanah Aminah Hospital for treatment.
The other residents of the two-story building (which comprises seven rooms) fled the scene when the incident occurred.
Police are searching for the man, who is believed to have shared a dorm room with the victims.
The case is being investigated under Article 302 of the Criminal Code.
