Some businesses show signs of disregarding social insurance laws.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the issues raised at the Conference on implementing the cooperation program for the period 2018 - 2020 between the Provincial Social Insurance and the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc, held on the afternoon of August 6.
With the motto of accompanying enterprises, in recent times, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee together with the Provincial Social Insurance has organized many meetings and direct dialogues with enterprises to promptly answer and resolve difficulties and problems. At the same time, it has resolved policies and regimes for employees at enterprises that owe social insurance and health insurance.
By the end of 2017, 101/126 enterprises had fulfilled their obligation to pay social insurance, and in the first 6 months of 2018, 81/126 units had basically completed paying social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for employees.

At the conference, representatives of the two units also pointed out some limitations in the implementation of the current coordination regulations. These are that enterprises with outstanding social insurance debts have not shown a clear trend of decreasing; some units have large and long-term debts, often violating social insurance payment commitments; employers do not strictly comply, showing signs of disregarding legal regulations.
In addition, the coordination and explanation of social insurance and health insurance policies to employees at enterprises is not much and not regular; the inspection of units with outstanding debts is not focused, mainly at units with large and long-term debts...

In the coming time, the coordination program between the Provincial Social Insurance and the Nghe An Business Bloc Party Committee will focus on the following contents: strengthening the dissemination of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies for employees, answering questions in resolving social insurance policies; coordinating to provide information on enterprises owing social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to find solutions to resolve and recover, ensuring the rights of employees and state regulations.
