At this time, flower shops in Vinh city are filled with spring colors. But before that, many families choose to buy seeds or pre-planted flower pots to take care of themselves to decorate their houses, preparing for Tet.

This year, many customers choose to buy familiar and traditional flowers such as roses, chrysanthemums, etc., so the flower market is also very diverse in terms of types and prices. Two months ago, many flower shops imported flowers to serve the Tet market. Plants were imported from Da Lat, Hanoi, Hung Yen, etc., and there were also flower varieties from flower villages near Vinh city such as Nghi An and Nghi Kim.

Roses alone have dozens of varieties such as climbing roses, Dalat roses, Hanoi roses, pink roses, regular roses, imported roses... with many different colors such as yellow, white, red, pink, goldfish color... for customers to choose from.

To meet the needs of customers, the shop owner also sells flower potting soil (mixed with mixed fertilizer). This is a special type of soil that costs 30 thousand VND/bag. Each bag like this can grow from 3 to 5 flower pots depending on the size.

Along with the soil, there are flower pots of all different sizes such as round, square, rectangular... and the prices also range from 100 to 300 thousand VND/pot. Many families also hire people to plant with very diverse prices.

Ms. Tran Thi Hung - in Vinh Tan new urban area said: This year, her family "played" with only Da Lat roses and Hanoi roses. The family hired someone to plant flowers according to their preferences as well as the design of the house. To make the flowers bloom as she wanted, Ms. Hung was instructed to cover the flowers with a thin layer of foam.

In Vinh city, many families use the second floor balcony to grow flowers and ornamental plants. This highlight contributes to making the house more airy and beautiful during Tet.

And small balconies of apartment buildings are also used by families to grow flowers for Tet. After stressful hours at school, children are more interested in helping their mothers take care of flowers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh (Hamlet 21, Nghi Phu, Vinh City) said: taking care of flowers has become her daily "pleasure". After stressful working hours, she returns to her family and takes care of flower pots. This year, to add a Tet atmosphere to her family's small garden, she bought more lotus flowers to plant. Being able to plant flowers, take care of them and look forward to the day the flowers bloom on Tet is the happiness of many people in today's busy life.
